About the Position: This Mission Support Officer position is located in the Comsec Compliance Division at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
Duties
Acts as the primary functional expert on budget requirements capture/analysis, Civilian Personnel support, and as primary liaison with the Division and Activities support Action Officers (AO).
Provides management advisory services relative to development and evaluation of special emphasis programs of the Directorate.
Provides analysis of budget/funding requirements, effectiveness, efficiency and productivity as they relate to the execution of COMSEC/INFOSEC/IA programs.
Serves as the advisor to the Director, Deputy Director and Division Chief on budget matters relating to the accomplishment, coordination and disposition of a variety of substantive studies, staff actions and assignments.
Monitors all actions through to completion providing assistance as requested. Personally responds to those actions which require general, rather than technical knowledge of programs, actions and functions.
Advises the leadership of all sensitive issues raised in incoming actions and provides staff elements with any specific instructions or comment from leadership/external customers.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the NH-02/GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) developing and submission of an Organizational budget requirements and support during the federal budget cycle (2) monitoring and managing the execution of Organizational funds ; (3) Providing integration of staff actions to facilitate effective management of subordinate elements; and (4) providing guidance on budget execution for organization leadership.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
