About the Position: Perform duties as the senior maintenance manager for a large multi-functional Army Field Level Maintenance (FLM) mission conducted at multiple facilities across Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Direct Field Level Maintenance (FLM) operations in support of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Training Base Equipment for the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE).
Direct the day-to-day FLM requirements for weapons, communications and optical equipment, light and heavy ground tactical equipment, power support equipment, construction equipment, and other special purpose items.
Maintain continuous liaison with responsible individuals representing their organization to clarify or disseminate pertinent information relative to the equipment management program, maintenance, and material management.
Responsible for an organizational-wide logistics readiness posture in terms of equipment status, supply support capabilities, and regulatory policy and guidance necessary to achieve the highest level of U.S. Army equipment readiness.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) integrating supply and maintenance functions into a unified logistics program; 2) planning, managing, and executing field level maintenance operations for tactical ground equipment and small arms weapon systems; 3) analyzing fleet wide logistics readiness posture in terms of equipment status, supply support capabilities and regulatory policy and guidance necessary to achieve the highest level of maintenance readiness; and 4) using multiple Logistics Tactical Enterprise Logistics Systems (TELS), such as the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) to compile and analyze a variety of logistics data to determine adequacy of field level maintenance mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
