About the Position: This position is located at the Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Leonard Wood. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Serve as primary LRC advisor utilizing technical knowledge of contracting functions to provide oversight of designated contracted logistics performance work statements (PWS) requirements, tasks and functions. Perform all administrative requirements based on input from the technical leads to develop and revise the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). Manage and coordinate the execution of and forecasting of associated funding requirements. Provide advice and assistance to the Director and Division Chiefs in interpreting planning directives related to acquisition objectives. Recommend corrective actions to be taken to resolve contract problems and demonstrate ability to meet program goals.

Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) overseeing a Quality Assurance Evaluator program for contract service requirements; 2) monitoring contractor performance; 3) managing contracts for Maintenance, Transportation, Supply, and various services that support logistics functions; 4) evaluating budget estimates to ensure the accomplishment of program objectives; and 5) developing performance work statements and inspection and surveillance plans. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
