You will serve as a PROTOTYPE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the ACQUISTION SUPPORT DIVISION (APD) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will identify, distribute and balance workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization
You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor’s instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met.
You will maintain a current knowledge and answer questions regarding ASD procedures, policies, directives, etc. and obtain needed information or decisions from supervisor on problems that come up.
You will resolve simple, informal complaints of employees and refer others, such as formal grievances and appeals, to the supervisor or an appropriate management official.
You will report to the supervisor periodically on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, progress in mastering tasks and work processes, and individual and team training needs.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Aircraft modification processes and procurement support. Experienced in parts research and have an understanding in their applications and adherence to specifications. 2.) Aircraft Purchase Card holder and knowledge procurement acquisition method. Be familiar with commercial and military supply systems. 3.) Subject matter expert in Purchase Card /MILSTRIP / NAVY ERP / AS9100 / Current BPA Warrant Holder. 4.) Demonstrate an understanding of acquisition methods and strategies

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
