You will serve as a INSTALLATION TRAINING SPECIALIST in the TRAINING AND READINESS (N36) DIVISION of the Operations Department (N3) of NAS PATUXENT RIVER.
Duties
You will develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the training program.
You will analyze training program requirements to identify the knowledge required for successful performance.
You will identify training courses for civilian employees or military members.
You will evaluate training technologies to introduce cost-effective technology into an organization.
You will coordinate with senior leaders in the development of a long-range training plan.
You will serve as the Installation Training Team (ITT) coordinator during installation-wide exercises.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing planning, execution and assessment of Installation training, readiness and exercise programs; 2) Completing monthly installation training reports (MITR); 3) Coordinating and organizing the preparation for and conduct of Installation training; 4) Compiling and submitting assessments, after action reports (AARs) and lessons learned; 5) Using knowledge of Emergency Operation Centers, AT/FP, Emergency Management and Disaster Operations for training purposes.
