You will serve as an Installation Training Specialist in the Training and Readiness Department of NAS PATUXENT RIVER.
Duties
You will develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the training program.
You will analyze training program requirements to identify the knowledge required for successful performance.
You will identify training courses for civilian employees or military members.
You will evaluate training technologies to introduce cost-effective technology into an organization.
You will coordinate with senior leaders in the development of a long-range training plan.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience planning, scheduling, analyzing and evaluating training programs of an organization;
Experience developing methods for administering a training budget;
Experience conducting training assessments to make recommendations, develop guidance and advise long-range planning; AND
Experience coordinating training programs and emergency operations drills.
