You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FORCE IMPROVEMENT DEPARTMENT of COMNAVAIRLANT.
Duties
You will serve as the Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System (DES) Program Manager and is responsible for the management and assignment of Sailors in a non-deployable status including pregnancy a d parenthood status.
You will monitor service members for the command and Fleet across the healing and treatment continuum and monitor administrative processes where medical is involved.
You will coordinate with Echelon III LIMDU/DES Program Managers providing manning data, analysis, advice, technical support, and response to official taskers.
You will collaborate and monitor processes with Limited Duty (LIMDU), Disability Evaluation System (DES), Administrative Separation, or other deploy ability or suitability processes as directed by the command.
You will provide policy and manning support, and oversight and management of LIMDU personnel to mitigate the friction in the distribution process for LIMDU personnel, while finding meaningful and valuable work.
You will be responsible for the planning, oversight, and management of LIMDU/DES personnel confirming that sailors are fully integrated into assigned commands.
You will lead, plan, coordinate, and execute strategic actions in support of the integration of LIMDU/DES distribution solutions throughout the TYCOM and its subordinate commands.
You will ensure all subordinate commands comply with all requirements regarding the management of non-deployable personnel.
You will plan and conduct a comprehensive in-depth analysis of force wide metrics to review and provide assessments of the command LIMDU/DES distribution.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with Ship Manpower Documents (SMD), My Navy Assignment System (MNA) and TABLEAU systems, and governing policies and regulations to determine manpower and manning requirements.
Experience with Deployability Category codes (DCATs) and Distributable Navy Enlisted Classification codes (DNEC).
Experience with force management functions and techniques to justify manning requirements, allocations of positions, and documentation to support changes and authorization.
Experience with the Department of Navy (DON), Fleet Readiness and the TYCOM frameworks, governance processes, and interrelationships to meet our peacetime and wartime mission demands.
Experience negotiating and coordinating projects and working groups with Echelon I and II, TYCOM, and subordinate commands ensuring that LIMDU/DES and Transient Sailors are assigned in-rate and rank.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
