You will serve as a Supervisory Management Analyst in the Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE) of COMNAVREG SE JAX.

Duties

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation of all military, civilian and contractor positions in the manpower systems of record and validating the requirements for same. You will direct the provision of policy /program guidance in the areas of position management and manpower requirements development; makes decisions on problems involving policy and conflicting regulations. You will recommend performance awards and salary bonus distribution for subordinate staff. You will direct the Operational Support Officer (0S0) and the regional entitlement travel services for both civilian and military personnel providing assistance in reserve requirements and travel services from CNIC HQ.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Managing a multi-disciplinary business portfolio including formulation of resource requirements, management of contract services, IT project management, transportation services, and audit; 2) Conducting studies of programs operational efficiency and productivity, and recommending changes or improvements in organization, work methods, and procedures; 3) Advising, overseeing and ensuring subordinates and first-line supervisors accomplish mission goals and objectives in a timely and effective manner; and 4) Reviewing administrative audit and investigative reports to determine appropriate changes or corrective actions.
