You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Aviation Supply Department of COMMANDER ELEC ATTACK WING PAC FLEET. Pay range: GS-05: $44,316-$57,607 GS-06: $49,400-$64,222 GS-07 $54,896-$71,366

Duties

You will apply standardized supply regulations to perform technical support duties related to completing individual transactions. You will expedite outstanding requisitions to improve delivery dates. You will perform reconciliation of information between supply systems and maintains and reviews document control registers for supply actions to ensure no misuse of the requisitioning processes. You will establish, monitor, and maintain the accountability programs for the command in an automated data processing system. You will update Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) and other databases as required with information provided by analysts or higher-level technicians. You will search different areas of NERP, Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) and other databases to extract information to resolve data discrepancies. You will procure consumable supplies, equipment and furniture by providing vendors and contractors with specific requirements, obtaining quotations and processing requirements via Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) for review and approval.

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical support by performing supply operations and utilizing automated tracking systems for aviation assets to improve the efficiency and productivity of an organization. GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical support by assisting with supply operations and utilizing automated tracking systems for aviation assets to help improve the efficiency and productivity of an organization. GS-05 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing supply operations support by using automated tracking systems for aviation logistic operations of an organization. GS-05
