You will serve as a Supply Technician of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.
Duties
You will perform technical support for receipt and issue processing, material discrepancy research, reporting and resolution, material status processing, documentation quality assurance, and stock record maintenance services.
You will Performs updates to and verify accuracy of data between automated supply information systems to reflect receipts, stows, location changes, issues, and inventory counts, using keyboard data entry and/or handheld barcode equipment.
You will contacts customers, other supply organizations, transportation services and vendors to obtain material information, and to expedite delivery of critical material to the customer.
You will reports and other informational articles to the internal chain of command, other supply agencies, and customers on a regular basis and/or upon request.
You will reviews and processes requisition referrals and manages the associated material movements.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Technician experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a thorough knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures sufficient to perform a full range of technical supply duties and provide technical supply support work including the utilization of various automated supply management systems and conducting research for supply transactions to resolve discrepancies, establish transaction histories, and resolve inquiries. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Performs causative research for material discrepancies, reviewing transaction histories and receipt documents to determine the cause of discrepancies.2) Responding to and contacting customers and organizations/entities to obtain material information, and to expedite delivery of critical material and resolve issues.3) Performs updates to and verify accuracy of data between automated supply information systems.4) Reviews and processes requisition referrals and manages the associated material movements; generates requisitions, purchase documentation and receives quotes.
