Duties

Coordinate and implement high-volume marketing campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery. Assist in the development of marketing strategies and plans, particularly for social media. Manage and implement social media campaigns to promote MWR programs, services and events, to build awareness of MWR and our offerings, and build followers. Excellent written communication, preferably with experience in copywriting. Assist in making changes and additions to our WSMR MWR website utilizing a basic content management system.

Qualifications

Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years of experience in marketing. Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks. Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CS4 (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign) is preferred as well as specialized education obtained in course work related to marketing, interactive communications or another related field. Best Qualified: At least two years of digital marketing experience for social media channels. At least two years of experience in proofreading and digital media content writing and copywriting for marketing campaigns. At least one year of experience managing and executing marketing campaigns. Certificate, certification or associate's degree in marketing, digital marketing or similar field. Highly preferred: Possess a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. Experience with Canva or Illustrator a plus.
