About the Position: This Contract Support Specialist (Lead) position is located at White Sands Test Center, Resource Mgmt. Dir. with duty location of White Sands, NM.
Duties
Serves as the White Sands Test Center's (WSTC) Billing Official for the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program.
Serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) .
Serves as team leader by providing advice and guidance to supporting personnel/team members in the Government Purchase Card program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.
- Requires Contracting Officer Representative (COR) training in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.72 or must be able to complete training within 21 days of Type A COR designation or within 35 days of Type B or C COR designation.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain Level I certification in Acquisition Career Field Contracting Professional within 36 months of appointment.
