As a Senior Leadership Development Specialist, you will provide expert guidance in leadership/career development needs. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing nationwide projects that impact all levels and functions of OCC.
Duties
As a Senior Leadership Development Specialist, you will:
Provide expert guidance and assistance of a leadership program.
Provide consulting expertise to fulfill the agency's leadership framework/strategy, vision, and goals.
Establish specific program objectives and determine metrics to be achieved to meet program goals.
Plan and direct leadership and career development activities, programs and training curriculum.
Assess the need, designs, develops, implements and evaluates leadership training for agency senior management officials.
Consult, facilitate, advise and coach executives, managers and employees on leadership development issues.
Manage and prioritize work and project deliverables to meet demands.
Support the development and management of the budget.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level in the Federal service. To qualify for the NB-VI level, you must have specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-V or GS-13.
Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
Leading the development of an organization-wide leadership and career development program designed to develop employees and manage learning; AND
Assessing training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers.
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
