As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist at the GS-0201-14, you will be part of HRS Federal Staffing Center Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for providing senior level technical consultation, advice, and service to agency officials for the assigned business line, dealing with matters that are controversial, complicated, precedent setting, or that involve intricate coordination and negotiation requirements.
Duties
Oversees work progress and reviews/approves for compliance with goals and objectives.
Establishes program objectives and performance goals for subordinate staff.
Develops business strategy and provides overall program direction for the business line to drive the accomplishment of key mission goals and objectives for Staff Acquisition.
Markets and promotes reimbursable products and services to agencies, explaining the capabilities of OPM to provide the full range of products and services available to meet their HR needs.
Prepares budget projections and monitors revenues and expenses against Staff Acquisition financial goals.
Develops new methods or criteria for problem resolution.
Qualifications
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS 14 level.
GS-14: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in private or public sectors) providing ALLof the following:
Overseeing large-scale human resources projects by analyzing workload to identify trends and balance resources.
Advising managers and HR staff on the legislative and regulatory requirements of the Federal hiring process.
Marketing and promoting products and services tailored to meet customer needs.
Monitoring budgets of human capital organizations or projects.
