You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the the Software Test & Production Engineering Branch of the Digital Engineering Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.

Duties

You will provide product support management and maintenance planning and management services for life-cycle support of tasks associated with engineering project efforts. You will provide research, development, design, test, documentation, and configuration control over the life-cycle of the system. You will address, individually or collectively, a variety of subsystems and components such as: power supply and distribution; display and control consoles; data transmission; test devices; computer program performance and design specifications. You will provide maintenance planning, product support, project coordination and configuration management of system/digital computer program design and performance aspects of a complete missile and shipboard system. You will support the electronic and electromechanical aspects of the wide variety of component systems and subsystems interfacing with the tactical digital computer programs, including computers, launchers, missiles and fire control systems. You will employ the fundamentals of configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, configuration management audits, and data management.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning or coordinating Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functions for software or computer program projects (configuration management, test & evaluation, system integration, troubleshooting, etc.) aboard ships.
