You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will write program policies in support of integrated logistics support (ILS) mission requirements. You will develop logistic evaluation criteria to measure contractors progress. You will monitor, evaluate and coordinate the execution of integrated logistics support for major equipment/systems including expenditures and project cost using IMS schedule and reporting tools. You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedure. You will coordinate integrated logistical support (ILS) plans to support the activities of equipment and systems throughout the life-cycle.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Determining item/system's support needs and preferred support methods; 2) Developing networks and building alliances and collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals; 3) Conducting, developing and delivering required system support to ensure achievement of warfighter required performance capabilities, while minimizing support costs, the logistics footprint, and provide the user with the resources to sustain the system in the field; and 4) Demonstrating skills to plan, organize, and lead ILS planning study teams and to negotiate effectively with high level officials to accept and implement recommendations. ***NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume.
