You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SURFACE SHIP READINESS PROGRAM; SURFACE SHIP DIRECTORATE of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.

Duties
You will serve as the Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) / Product Support Manager (PSM) for Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM and E) Systems Sustainment efforts within PMS 443.
You will work with Resource Sponsors, FLEETs, TYCOMs, SEA05 Technical Warrant Holders, SURFMEPP, Naval Warfare Centers, Naval Supply Systems Command, Defense Logistics Agency to establish strategies to improve availability of HM and E systems.
You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the System Sustainment Plans (SSPs) and Sustainment Foundation Papers (SFPs) used to capture sustainment requirements across the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements.
You will lead efforts to develop/maintain (HM and E) System Sustainment policies and processes, communication plans, Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) / Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and Task Planning Sheets (TPS).
You will act as a primary interface between the platform "in-service" and "new construction" programs, working closely with both teams to advocate for assigned critical (HM and E) system sustainment products.
You will be responsible for organizing and supporting (HM and E) System Sustainment meetings/forums.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Integrated Product Support (IPS) operations to ensure the life cycle, sustainment, or availability of designated systems or equipment related to hull, mechanical & electrical.
