You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Availability Planning Division, Modernization and Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will provide leadership, coordination, project planning and overall material task management of assigned Aegis Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics efforts.
You will plan work with Logistics Element Monitors (LEMs) to gather information and respond to materiel associated requests for the countries they support.
You will develop and present periodic system status encompassing support performance and associated cost sections.
You will address customer Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) and Material shortage (DMSMS) concerns and identify high priority issues and paths forward.
You will lead communications with other agencies and participate and present at associated working groups and other meetings.
You will provide support and oversight expertise to resolve issues, timely and effective planning to support program milestones, timely delivery and coordination of required products and actions, and customer satisfaction.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing integrated logistics support (ILS) and maintenance requirements to develop logistics plans and resolve issues impacting logistics and system supportability for a warfare program.
