You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the NAVSURFWARCEN PORT HUENEME DIV, DEPARTMENT CHIEF LOGISTICIAN N02 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will be responsible for overseeing all Department Product Support activities and ensure the technical quality of the department's logistics products and processes.
You will manage and execute Integrated Product Support (IPS) processes, policies, and procedures.
You will be directly responsible for ensuring health and sustainability of all weapon systems supportability in system designs and elements necessary for suitable and cost effective operation.
You will have insight into traditional evolving Combat System Lifecycle Support Requirements necessary to provide guidance and quality assurance for all IPS processes.
You will align and partner with Fleet and Program Office/Sponsors.
You will lead high-performing, cross-functional teams of engineering, technical and logistics personnel in developing and implementing programmatic requirements.
You will plan, organize, and manage complex projects.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading and managing technical teams to establish objectives, set priorities, and develop strategies and solutions for an effective execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) initiatives to enhance fleet capability.
