Duties
You will serve at the ONR Records Management Officer over the records management activities.
You will Assist with the development of long-range record management program plans.
You will Ensure permanently valuable information is preserved and that all other information is retained, reviewed and disposed of systematically.
You will interpret higher authority guidance regarding the implementation of new record keeping systems.
You will perform ongoing reviews to determine compliance with electronic recordkeeping regulations and recommend alternatives as needed.
You will develop and keep current local record management guidelines, policies and procedures for the management of the ONR records program throughout their life cycle.
You will perform analysis and advise on the effectiveness and management efficiency of the ARCIS program.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band (NO-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Resolving complicated substantive record management problems to improve efficiency of operations; 2) Developing record management policies in conformance with rules, laws and regulations; 3) Conducting studies and performing workflow analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of recordkeeping operations; 4) Recommending the implementation of particular technologies or practices which appear to have strong cost/benefit considerations are well; and 5) Structuring a record management program that includes both electronic and manual recordkeeping systems
