About the Position: Position is located at US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMAND, DEPUTY COS, G8 (RESOURCE MANAGEMENT). JOA amended 11.27.2024

Duties

Serve as lead program analyst responsible for participating in command-level assessments of all maintenance and sustainment activities and programs with respect to the execution, planning, programming, evaluating, and prioritizing financial resources associated with assigned aircraft and missile weapon systems and initiatives. Develop Command program policies, resolving critical problems or issues related to financial management policy interpretation and application, and coordinating with major missile and aircraft weapon system logisticians and resourcing improvements throughout AMCOM, AMC, and HQDA. Participate in AMCOM stakeholder briefings, conferences, reviews, hearings and meetings concerning AMCOM support to major weapon systems. Provide technical, analytical, and financial management advice and assumes technical direction for resource management exercises and functions across the U.S. AMCOM supply chain enterprise.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational Awareness Planning and Evaluating Problem Solving Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
