About the Position: Position is located at US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMAND, DEPUTY COS, G8 (RESOURCE MANAGEMENT).

Duties
Serve as lead program analyst responsible for participating in command-level assessments of all maintenance and sustainment activities and programs with
respect to the execution, planning, programming, evaluating, and prioritizing financial resources associated with assigned aircraft and missile weapon systems and initiatives.
Develop Command program policies, resolving critical problems or issues related to financial management policy interpretation and application, and
coordinating with major missile and aircraft weapon system logisticians and resourcing improvements throughout AMCOM, AMC, and HQDA.
Participate in AMCOM stakeholder briefings, conferences, reviews, hearings and meetings concerning AMCOM support to major weapon systems.
Provide technical, analytical, and financial management advice and assumes technical direction for resource management exercises and functions across the U.S. AMCOM supply chain enterprise.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing, coordinating or providing input to special and recurring reports covering all aspects of the weapon system review and analysis program; reviewing and analyzing program acquisition plans, managerial reports, financial reports and other pertinent data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
