About the Position: This position serves as a Lead Logistics Management Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. The Army's Face to the World, the one-stop focal point for Army FMS, and the international partner of choice in U.S. Security Assistance.

Duties

Implement policy, procedures, and processes for security assistance, which result from higher government laws, regulations, and policies. Serve as the Command focal point for the review of DOD, DA, Command, and other agency regulations to determine the impact on assigned systems and the overall security assistance mission. Lead team members to achieve specific tasks, produce work products and services to meet program and system goals. Brief all levels of US and foreign governments on assigned projects. Communicate team consensus and recommendations to the supervisor on actions affecting team.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position's SCW certification level.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
