You will serve as a Supervisory Intelligence Specialist, Section Chief, Operational Intelligence Division in the Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF-W), Intelligence Department, organizing, planning and directing personnel and other resources to accomplish the organization's overall intelligence analysis mission. This position is located in Camp H.M. Smith, Oahu, Hawaii.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
Duties
You will provide oversight of highly complex analysis, production and dissemination of current, operational, and strategic intelligence to support Department of Defense and external agencies.
You will supervise a mixed workforce of military, contractors, and civilian personnel comprised of intelligence analysts across two branches.
You will oversee the operation and management of intelligence programs and production operations.
You will engage extensively with senior level peers internal/external at the local, national, and international intelligence community level to address and gain concurrence on emerging real-world developments impacting the intelligence mission.
You will participate in senior level IC meetings to represent the organization, discuss policy, resolve unusual circumstances, and influence leadership decisions impacting the overall intelligence mission.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- CONUS/foreign travel may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supervising a mixed workforce of military, civilian, and contractor personnel compromised of intelligence analysts across two branches where the highest full performance level is GG-13; 2) Providing technical soundness of subordinate work performed through applying professional knowledge of a wide range of concepts governing assigned area(s) of responsibility and advanced knowledge of terminologies, methodologies and research; 3) Leading a division's mission to provide timely, relevant, and accurate intelligence analysis; and, 4) Leading and managing a division in support of mission accomplishment, including planning and defending execution of the Division's budget.
