You will serve as GG-0132-15 Supervisory Intelligence Specialist for MARINE FORCES PACIFIC at Camp HM Smith, HI, where you will provide long-term continuity to the intelligence directorate to drive broad, complex, multi-year Joint and Service Intelligence solutions to completion and supervise/coordinate the daily activities of a mixed military and civilian workforce.
Duties
You will supervise and coordinate daily activities of a mixed workforce comprised of intelligence specialists, information technology specialists, and a weather specialist.
You will exercise significant judgment, based on broad and deep experience when policy and directives do not adequately indicate methods or solutions, in order to accomplish the Command’s joint or service mission.
You will exercise technical responsibility for the output of the G2 Directorate to provide intelligence support to exercises, phase 0 activities, and real world operations, usually within a Joint Task Force (JTF) construct.
You will address functional areas of collections/RFI management, joint warfighting, inter-agency, exercises, theater security cooperation activities, management of intelligence sharing relationships, knowledge management, and foreign disclosure.
You will evaluate the performance of civilian and military subordinates and set work schedules.
You will direct and guide subordinates in order to positively influence the planning and execution of intelligence support to the warfighter that is within the mission, scope, and abilities of Pacific Intelligence Marines.
You will significantly influence complex and far-reaching decisions in the Joint intelligence environment, both directly and through subordinate supervisors.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.
- Travel required for contingency/exercise support, briefings, conferences and training.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:
1. Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities and coordinate daily activities for a mixed military and civilian workforce.
2. Manage the organization's operations, administration, and staff actions by providing oversight and supervision of all intelligence support.
3. Set priorities and goals for Intelligence Enterprise coordination to support a concept of operations.
4. Brief senior leadership across multiple agencies regarding intelligence programs and functions.
