About the Position: This position has been identified as meeting the criteria to be placed on the NH-IV control point not to exceed the GS-14, step 10, base pay amount. If the current base pay exceeds the GS-14, step 10 level, when assigned to this position description, the control point will reflect the current base pay amount.
Duties
Responsible for surveillance, analysis, and improvement recommendations to organizational processes and procedures.
Oversee projects and programs, coordinates with others within and outside the organization on program accomplishment and collaborative efforts.
Responsible for developing, refining, analyzing, and issuing TMDE calibration and repair policy to support specific readiness goals and Army mission objectives.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all areas of responsibility, functions and intent relating to support agreements, Memorandums of Agreement/understanding and related subjects.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance during the duration of employment.
- This position requires 10% Temporary Duty Travel. Occasional travel may be expected up to 10% of the time for this position.

- A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience Statement (HR/SME): One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) assessing calibration laboratory effectiveness and ensuring responsive maintenance support for customer test equipment; (2) experience in managing and evaluating the Army calibration and repair programs for Test, Measurement and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) used by soldiers, civilians, and government contractors Army-wide in the support of fielded weapons systems, depot maintenance and support operations, and research, development, test and evaluation activities.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13 /NH-03).
