This position is located at the SRD Directorate/Quality Engineering Division.

Duties
Serve as the Mission Assurance Division Chief for the Prototype Integration Facility.
Supervise Quality and Test Engineers, an Aviation Program Team (APT) consisting of an Aviation Program Team Branch Chief, Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs), Government Flight Representatives (GFRs), and Government Ground Representatives.
Lead and manage all aspects of the PIF AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) to include management of processes and documentation, metric analysis, product verification, audit planning and execution, root cause analysis and corrective action.
Oversee Aviation Operations and the PIF prime contractor quality management activities IAW contractual requirements.
Support PIF Strategic Planning activities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-04 level in the Federal Service which includes: Planning, coordinating, implementation, and monitoring of major quality assurance programs, processes, projects, policies, and activities. Knowledge of higher Quality Management System (QMS) elements, functions, and requirements. Experience in investigating, developing, writing, and overseeing execution of quality assurance policy and guidance. Experience in conducting product verification, special studies, projects, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
