This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Technician/Administrative Support Work Category within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-ACQC/TRANSPORT PEO.
Duties
Provides dedicated executive assistant support to the Host and Compute as the primary Information Officer.
Manages incoming information for relevance and applicability to the Executive’s level of responsibility and ascertains the need for time on the Executive’s schedule.
Acts as the primary Task Officer/Action Officer, facilitating all tasks and suspense items received for action, review, or response; Determines action required and assigns to appropriate office.
Conducts progress checks of on-going activities and projects to ensure that policies, timeliness and information are properly presented.
Assists in research and the development of reports and presentations; developing and maintaining documents, electronic spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations; managing information in databases or lists.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in providing executive support such as coordinates scheduling, aids in the preparation of reports, presentations, briefings and/or other correspondence. Collects information and assists in conducting research. Acts as the primary Task Officer/Action Officer, facilitating all tasks and suspense items received for action, review or response.
