This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS - DODIN.
Duties
Develops and fosters close interagency cooperation and interoperability among the United States Transportation Command on behalf of United States Cyber Command and other governmental/nongovernmental entities.
Ensures synchronization of strategic objectives, resources, activities, mutual understanding, and unity of effort.
Determines and applies analytical tools to conducts in-depth analysis to identify, quantify, and evaluate the mutual effects and interrelationships between program goals and financial resources and policies.
Evaluates proposals for systems and/or programs required to meet existing or anticipated operational problems, challenges and changes in the operations environment.
Ensures organization’s strategic plans, mission, vision, and values are communicated and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives.
Articulates and communicates program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
Serves as coach, facilitator, and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities.
Requirements

- The incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450.
- In accordance with DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subjected to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements in 12 months.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in leading, coordinating, and the overall success of cybersecurity operations planning and execution in support of transportation operations, logistics planning, and transportation management programs.
