About the Position: Responsible for the management and programming of physical space utilization of over 5,500 assets consisting of over 14.5 million square feet on a major installation with complex use patterns and more than 70 tenant organizations. Administers the physical space management and utilization.
Duties
Administer the physical space management and utilization program to include the development of recommendations for assigning and reassigning space to promote efficient utilization of facilities.
Serve as consultant and advisor on the maximum utilization of physical space by advising, assisting, and collaborating with organizations.
Conduct surveys and studies involving facility utilization, space utilization, real estate acquisitions, and storage services in order to analyze and evaluate study results to provide recommendations.
Review policies, directives, regulations, and orders pertaining to space management and utilization received from higher headquarters for implementation throughout the command.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (SCFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08). Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
