Duties

You will provide financial support to the Planning Procurement Strategy Meeting (PPSM) of contract acquisitions. You will be responsible for coordinating and composing financial support documentation in AMS. You will assist BFM in configuration management with Branch BFR and BOD budget packages to help justify and defend program requirements You will coordinate, compose, and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) utilizing NERP financial system, to include proper documentation for processing PRs to execute in ERP (i.e., reimbursable, contracts, direct cite, etc.) You will respond to taskers from Comptroller for DON/OSD/PB budget exhibits, Congressional Staffer questions, Resource Sponsor questions, and any budget related questions regarding the Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA), contract awards, etc. You will assist and provide input to Tri-Annual Reviews, Mid-year and Year-End Closeout.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Nuclear Deterrent Mission position.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band (NH-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing financial management and analysis by identifying, analyzing and resolving budgetary or financial constraints to develop alternative methods of funding or formulating annual or multi-year budget estimates for programs.
