About the Position: Serves as lead training developer for the matters relating to documentation of ordnance ground support equipment (generators, air conditioning, and laundry systems) and training procedures for the Army in the Field. Develops components of instructional design, i.e., sequencing and clustering of learning events and objectives, task learning relationships, and instructional design plans for Ordnance Fix/Arm ground maintenance Specialist courses and lessons.
Duties
Identifies application of automated systems into Ordnance ground maintenance courses. Researches all DA and MACOM regulations to ensure the most current doctrine is being applied to courseware development.
Integrates emerging concepts and new systems digital requirements into current curricula and serves as the Training Development center-of-gravity for The Army Training System (TATS).
Leads and coordinates all efforts in planning, designing, developing, conducting and evaluating Active Component (AC) and Reserve Component (RC) courseware for ordnance ground maintenance.
Conducts research and development of changes to ordnance doctrine and programs for changes to all related training products.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
