About the Position: Serves as supervisor of ground maintenance training branch and as a Senior Training Specialist with responsibility for developing unit, institutional, and extension training materials for enlisted, noncommissioned, warrant officer, and officer training programs for Ordnance ground maintenance MOSs for use in Active and Reserve Components.
Duties
Serves as supervisor of ground maintenance training branch and as a Senior Training Specialist.
Responsible for conceiving, developing, and conducting broad and comprehensive training programs which are aimed at meeting the training needs of the Army, and joint and allied services.
Provides analytical services, staff advice, and assistance to proponent school staff and all subordinate organizational levels that facilitate the effectiveness and efficiency of instructional training materials.
Supervises a workforce consisting of military and civilian personnel.
Develops methods of using new training and education media in designing courseware and special materials in areas where new designs are needed.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 30% of the time.
