This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Developmental/ Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - PEO SPECTRUM.
Duties
This position functions as the principal assistant to the Division Commander/Director and provides division level support to the PEO Spectrum Technical Director and PEO Spectrum Special Advisor.
Incumbent serves as the primary point of contact and liaison for all administrative and office management issues that have the direct interest of the division.
Facilitates communication between JSC division managers, supervisors and employees on administrative matters.
Manages all administrative and office support functions for the JSC division. Works with the branches to develop written administrative policies and procedures to ensure effective management.
Incumbent plans the project, organizes materials, gathers and analyzes data, coordinates as appropriate, and develops final reports and/or recommendations.
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- The work schedule may include regular and recurring telework.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-09, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience gathering information and preparing a variety of reports, researching regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures as well as experience making/ reviewing travel arrangements including transportation and lodging as well as managing calendars and coordinating meetings and events.
To qualify at the GG-11, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in managing reports, advising senior leadership on administrative processes, assisting in modifying administrative work methods, preparing briefings, and processing travel arrangements as well as experience researching regulations, policies, and standards to develop reports. Experience utilizing communication and collaboration platforms such as Teams and SharePoint.

Education
GG-09 Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, Master's or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement.
