You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Material Management Division of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.
Duties
You will be responsible for the oversight of acquisition and management of various NAVSUP programs in terms of development, planning, design, testing and procurement of NAVSUP program products.
You will establish plans and strategies with supporting business case analyses and subsequent policy for effective life cycle management.
You will be the recognized expert in program planning, budgeting and execution to include requirements collection and validation, budget collation and briefing senior leadership.
You will ensure acquisition, support and management strategies as well as executing plans are aligned with Fleet requirements.
You will manage defective material, classified material coding, obsolescence, product disposal, shelf-life management, environment reporting and cross-organizational process and policy development and promulgation.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Material Management and Supply Chain Solutions to maintain and improve overall logistics. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Performing Material and Supply Chain Management including distribution and transportation processes, warehousing, asset viability, order fulfillment and material requirements planning and business transition planning. 2) Demonstrated knowledge of Navy inventory control, waterfront support, and maintenance processes and procedures to resolve complicated logistics and program support problems. 3) Responsible for the supervision and human resource management functions over subordinates, including providing full support of the equal employment opportunity program. 4) Demonstrated knowledge of Program planning, budgeting, acquisition and execution to include requirements collection and validation, budget collation, briefing senior leadership and supporting financial benchmarks. 5) Provide advanced knowledge of program management techniques to include short- and long-term strategic planning, resource management, program execution, benefit and cost analysis, contract management, and process improvement.
