You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Central Tool Shop, Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate departmental programs.
You will evaluate Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports in support of process improvement programs.
You will conduct program compliance surveillances.
You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations, and program effectiveness, associated with Quality Analysis (QA) programs.
You will make recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve instances of program noncompliance and reverse adverse trends.
You will prepare and issue a weekly; quarterly, and yearly assessment report for all established programs.
You will instruct and advise all levels of workers and management in program requirements.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing program performance data to investigate trends and non-compliance issues for the development of reports, charts or graphs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
