You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (INNOVATION) in the Digital Transformation Division, Command Transformation Office, Code 100TO of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will work with all stakeholders to advance and implement priority technologies for ship maintenance.
You will develop, instill and model the behaviors necessary to transform the command and drive all efforts to bring technology into utilization.
You will routinely interface with NAVSEA, outside agencies including academia, industry partners/vendors and senior leaders.
You will develop internal processes, programs and analytics to track project metrics and enhance communications.
You will use knowledge of the organization, missions, and functions to lead implementation and communicate/coordinate business process improvements throughout the command.
You will be able to work with senior leadership, large segments of the organization, and teams with representatives from other activities/commands in the study of complex industrial business processes.
You will negotiate effectively with senior leadership to commit substantial resources and to effect extensive changes to established procedures that may be in conflict with others’ desires.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires regular periods of walking, climbing stairs and ladders, standing, bending, and stooping.
- The position often requires onboard ship work.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and evaluating innovation programs and procedure requirements for recommending, implementing, or negotiating process improvement strategies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
