You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCE DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Duties

You will identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems. You will identify budgetary problems and development of alternative solutions. You will perform a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative work for substantive programs and support activities. You will assist program managers and staff officials in interpreting the impact of and planning for financial or budgetary and program changes. You will execute modifications to systems, programs, and establish criteria and other means to investigate or analyze a variety of unusual problems and conditions. You will develop specific objectives and devise new methods, techniques, and criteria.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and managing an organization's financial programs or budgetary activities by utilizing financial management systems to assess or resolve funding problems and ensure compliance with financial regulations within an organization.
