You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the FINANCE DIVISION of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Duties

You will serve as coordinator with internal NAVWAR/PEO organization, OPNAV, SRB and Department of Defense (DOD) review authorities to communicate programmatic and policy implications in support of POM and strategic planning. You will plan, direct and coordinate all aspects of Cyber Resiliency Resourcing for SPAWAR BSO 39. You will plan, direct and coordinate all aspects of consolidated program development including Program Reviews (PR), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and other supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Communicating programmatic and policy implications in support of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) strategic planning; AND preparing, coordinating, overseeing, and delivering a variety of briefings. .
