You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the FORCE PROTECTION DIVISION (N34) of NSA WASHINGTON SECURITY DETACHMENT.
Duties
You will review and evaluate case files including complex and controversial reports of investigations.
You will establish countermeasures to achieve an acceptable level of risk.
You will administer all aspects of the security program to safeguard classified and unclassified information.
You will maintain a filing system for all Communications Security (COMSEC) reports, message files, and records.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain continuous eligibility for unescorted access to restricted/ controlled areas.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identify areas in which improved physical security are required; 2) Interpret a variety of broad and general security policies, procedures, and/or regulations to develop policy recommendations or proposals for new policies/procedures; 3) Perform security studies to recommend short and long term solutions or recommendations to security problems; and 4) Test or evaluate a large and complex number of security systems to ensure safeguarding of a variety of operations, facilities and information.
