The Planning Analysis and Integration Group (AJM-1300) provides cross-program planning, multi-domain and multi-discipline engineering analyses; develops strategies to capitalize on new technologies & acquisition best practices; and conducts cross-program risk, issues and opportunities (RIO) management. This position is located in the Integrated Services and Analysis, Planning, Analysis and Integration Group, Technical Management & Integration Team.
Duties
Applies experience and expert technical knowledge of the National Airspace System (NAS) equipment, procedures, including their interrelatedness and functions, in order to design, develop, modify, or evaluate the NAS. Possesses an understanding of new technologies and methodologies, to perform critical tasks requiring the development of new concepts, systems, or innovative approaches. Supports the deployment and integration of equipment and systems into the NAS. Typical assignments may include: complex system integration; extensive research and analysis; leading and coordinating efforts of programs in the consistent use of the Service Center and Engineering Services as well as processes in project implementation that leverage the full capabilities within the shared services available in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Service Area/Center.

- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:Experience in the designing, developing, modifying, or evaluating the NAS systems and equipment.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
