Duties
Develop proposals for use in the creation of parallel/ nested plans.
Develop and integrate the organization operational plan.
Maintain awareness of significant aspects of the force management manpower processes.
Prepare operational level initiatives addressing changes to organizational design changes.
Lead staff integrated planning sessions.
Provide input to organizational staff for green belt and black belt projects.
Serve as deciding official for actions recommended by subordinates.
Serve as first line supervisor for several senior civilian and military personnel.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Secret background investigation.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time for training or conferences.
- One year probationary period may be required.
- May be required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime
- This position requires that the employee enroll, attend and complete the Army Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Course within 36 months of assignment

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12.
