About the Position: Serves as the Senior Civilian Executive Assistant (SCEA) to the Commanding General, V Corps and Senior Responsible Officer (SRO).

Duties
Exercise full delegated authority to speak for and represent the command group on a myriad of subjects, specifically those pertaining to daily- and long-range operations of the command.
Develop the command headquarters position on the number of requirements needed for accomplishing short- and long-range plans, as well as, for accomplishing current operations.
Manage the V Corps and subordinate units Civilian Appraisal Program.
Monitor the DA Civilian and local national staff to maintain organizational focus, direction, open lines of communication, and collaboration between the V Corps staff and Garrison staffs.
Oversee the planning and execution of the V Corps financial program and monitors the financial programs of other SRO tenants.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 5 (CS/TS-SSBI) background investigation and this position is covered by the Drug-Free Workplace Program as a testing designated position.
- The incumbent is required to sign DA Form 5019, "CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT FOR CERTAIN CIVILIAN POSITIONS IDENTIFIED AS CRITICAL UNDER THE DRUG-FREE FEDERAL WORKPLACE PROGRAM".
- Complete a pre-employment drug test and accomplish random drug testing and/or drug testing for suspicion of drug use thereafter.
- Must IAW DoD Policy, must be able to obtain and maintain a no-fee Special Issuance Passport (SIP) and associated visa while assigned to a Federal civilian position in an area requiring a passport and associated visa.
- This position has supervisor responsibilities and first-time supervisors are required to complete supervisory training within one (1) year of appointment.
- Must be able perform a Temporary Change of Station (TCS) for not less than 6 months, but no more than 30 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Forces Certificate of License.
- Must be able to work under austere living conditions, as well as share accommodation under field conditions (containers, tents and/or barracks).
