You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Director, Civilian Human Resources (DCHR), Total Force Management (N1) Directorate of Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT).
Duties
You will provide assistance in the development and update of Fleet wide policy and guidance related to assigned program area.
You will analyze elevated issues/problems and provide authoritative advice to the DCHR and HROs.
You will establish, track and analyze key performance indicators and report to the DCHR on status.
You will partner with the HROs and other offices to align goals, ensure consistency, and strengthen the overall integrity of the program.
You will lead the charge on various special projects that require DCHR oversight and/or involve different servicing HROs, other Major Commands, and/or higher level initiatives.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising management on the use of both internal and external staffing strategies to address current and future workforce needs; providing subject matter expertise on various compensation and pay flexibilities in order to increase the effectiveness of recruitment and retention efforts; and partnering with management to identify and resolve complex and/or highly sensitive staffing, recruitment, and/or compensation issues.
