You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Aviation Operations Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will serve as Product Lead for acquisition and/or supply support management for assigned weapon systems/equipment throughout all phases of acquisition, operational support and subsequent modifications as well as manage secondary items.
You will be responsible for the comprehensive supply support of items within product scope.
You will optimize readiness while optimizing the allocation of resources.
You will utilize trainings and expertise to represent items within product scope to stakeholders (internal/external to NAVSUP WSS).
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Participating in all phases of integrated logistics support planning throughout the life cycle of weapon systems;
Evaluating alternative supply support strategies relative to funds availability and, if necessary formulating alternative support concepts to achieve supply support objectives;
Participating in the formulation, review and justification of procurement and repair budgets for items within product scope;
Monitoring and controlling progress to ensure timely and quality delivery of ILS elements inputs;
Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions; V-lookup, Pivot Tables, and Chart creation.
