PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as the Mission Assurance Specialist for JBLE overseeing the Integrated execution of Integrated Defense and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection for the 633 ABW; coordinating Joint efforts between the 633rd Security Forces Squadron and the 733d Security Force Squadron.
Duties
Analyzing, developing, and evaluating detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the implementation of the Air Base Wing's Joint Integrated Defense Plan.
Serves as the Air Base Wing's Integrator on matters involving Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP).
Manages C-SUAS program for the 633d ABW.
Conducts long-term planning, workload management, functional/technical advice and guidance, and continuity of operations for the C-SUAS program.
Serves as one of the Wing's Exercise Planning Specialist for Joint-Base Exercise Planning and Execution

- Incumbents are expected to maintain certifications in the Enterprise Mission Assurance, U.S. Army Corps Security Engineering Class, and Anti-Terrorism Level II.
- Incumbent may be subject to work other than normal duty hours.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
Qualifications
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (CONTINUED):
This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF) which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs.
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
In order to qualify, you must meet the Specialized Experience Requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions: Administrative and Management Positions- Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series (0301)
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 (or higher) grade level or equivalent (may have been obtained in the federal service, military, or public sector). Examples of specialized experience include knowledge of a wide range of security specialties to identify and resolve conventional policy and program objectives, and procedures within the security functional area; extensive knowledge in the specialized fields of physical security, force protection, and antiterrorism; knowledge of DoD, USAF, and MAJCOM policy requirements and Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP), which are used to formulate an integrated program which meets regulatory requirements and reduces vulnerabilities; knowledge of security policy requirements and procedures to provide recommendations for making decisions and policy development on short and long-term security planning; and knowledge of C-SUAS and AT/FP standards to assess installation projects.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems.
Knowledge of DoD and Air Force C-SUAS and antiterrorism and force protection doctrine, policies, and instructions to coordinate objectives and develop plans for interrelated security programs.
Knowledge of a broad range of security program relationships to make recommendations allowing for differing program requirements, and multiple security objectives.
Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing facts; drawing conclusions; devising solutions to problems; identifying changes and trends; and preparing and presenting information to leadership.
Ability to prioritize and recommend resourcing strategies for the correction or mitigation of C-SUAS and AT vulnerabilities on the installation.
Ability to assist evaluation teams in developing realistic and relevant scenarios to exercise and validate the C-SUAS and AT program.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
