You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SPECTRUM WARFARE DEPARTMENT (WX), IR/RF SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGIES DIVISION (WXR), COUNTERMEASURES DESIGN BRANCH (WXRL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
Duties
You will work with IPT Lead and other associated task managers to generate DD-1498s and/or TPS(s).
You will receive, manage and execute funding NWAs IAW with DD-1498s and/or TPS requirements.
You will develop detailed task planning including the decomposition of sponsor requirements into resources requirements, related costs, schedules, execution, monitoring and reporting and delivery to the sponsors.
You will be responsible for coordinating and leading quarterly project execution reviews with other Task Managers or as needed based on project requirements.
You will be responsible for elevating risks and issues to WXR Management and documenting them.
You will provide detailed Project information, data, metrics and reports as required.
You will facilitate with the identification of requirements for resourcing, facilities, and equipment.
You will communicate and negotiate with customers, and decomposition of sponsor requirements into resourcing requirements, related cost and schedules, execution, monitoring and reporting and delivery to the sponsor.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical project operation requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of ordnance or energetic program operations.
