About the Position: Serves as the expert advisor and consultant to the Crane Army Ammunition Activity Commander and Deputy to the Commander (DC) on business operations and planning for current operations and strategic plans. Responsible for integrating, managing, planning, coordinating, and leading the Command's current operations, future operations, emergency operations, and contingency planning, requiring resolution of highly complex problems that cross organizational boundaries.
Duties
Supervise the workload of two NH-03 subordinates (Operations Specialist and Plans Specialist), the Operations Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (E5-E7), and three NH-03 Directorate Supporting Analysts.
Oversee the management of the current operations and long-term planning calendar ensuring that overall strategic planning has been synchronized with mission requirements.
Provide senior management skills to projects having far-reaching and long-term implications for CAAA operations and plans as well as Emergency Management and Contingency Operations planning and execution.
Oversee and coordinate the strategic planning of manpower, logistics, finance, and current/future business operations.
Manage the strategic oversight of the organization’s missions pertaining to the current and future operations within and outside of the organization.
Develop and advise the Command on organizational strategies, tactics, and budget/action plans to acquire and allocate resources and manpower effectively.
Facilitate the integration and coordination within the Operations Cell, ensuring CAAA organizational tasks are carried out across various staff functions, disciplines, and capabilities.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning and integrating operation support missions for an organization. Coordinating and monitoring program management efforts to include implementation of contingency plans. Experience analyzing business operations and planning to ensure program resource requirements are met. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-3).
