You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX), Power and Energy Systems Division (JXM), Deputy Division Manager Branch (JXMD) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Duties
You will coordinate annual call for proposals and includes coordinating with technology stakeholders within the DoD to select topics for consideration.
You will conduct budget scenarios and business -case analysis reports related to execution of annual budget of $30M+ across the Future Years Defense Plan (FYDP).
You will nominate technical efforts for annual Defense Manufacturing Technical Achievement Awards (DMTAAs).
You will be responsible to respond to short-suspense taskers from DoD leadership and Congressional staffers.
You will conduct semi-annual reviews of entire investment portfolio.
You will ensure investment portfolio is executing according to proposed plans and provide leadership support to inquiries involving funding, contract and technical requirements.
You will coordinate with DoD stakeholders to determine opportunities to host Manufacturing Science and Technology Program (MSTP) reviews at DoD facilities to bring awareness and collaboration opportunities.
You will deliver strong, concise communications to various audiences across the DoD and technical domestic industrial base.
You will participate in speaking engagements at DoD-relevant conferences, technical engagements and seminars.
You will communicate with DoD technical stakeholders on a regular basis to bring awareness of investments within relevant technical fields.
You will ensure best financial benefits are realized throughout technical execution by reducing double-investment and leveraging best practices across the program.
You will work throughout the Fiscal Year (FY) with other DoD ManTech programs and conference organizers to help prepare conference schedule, technical
tracks, speaker engagements and leadership attendance.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-5 (GS-13/14 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading or managing program operations (i.e. joint teams, financial planning, executive relationships) to assess and develop strategic plans to ensure technological advancement for the support and sustainment of programs.
