Duties
Supports J62LC by providing advice, assistance, analysis and support related to the identification, research, acquisition, development, integration, infusion, delivery and sustainment of information technology systems.
Provides first line supervision of IT Specialists within the Enterprise Systems SAP Technical Support organization, which provides support services to sustain environmental software support services for enterprise systems.
Manages, overseas and leads the coordination of a broad range of activities necessary to support DLA’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) which includes Enterprise Business Systems (EBS)...
(cont.) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) programs.
Coordinates subordinate actions to ensure the technical support for systems software including implementation planning, configuration, integration testing, product features and limitations...
(cont.) and diagnostic support through the appropriate vendor for approved system upgrades and capabilities.
Directs subordinate staff involved in the implementation and support of enabling systems software utilities, exits and other software used to support DLA standard business application systems.
Supervises subordinate staff who provide application administration support for DLA ERP systems, including evaluation, selection and implementation of database management systems...

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory IT Specialist (APPSW/SYSANALYSIS), your qualifications must include:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Examples of specialized experience are identified in the Major Duties section of this vacancy announcement and may also include:
Advises leadership on matters related to unit function and mission of IT portfolios using Systems, Application & Products in Data Processing (SAP) applications and products.
Oversees, leads and coordinates discussions concerning technical strategies, requirements, and performance testing for systems that support enterprise business systems.
Manages development of SAP strategy to support complex technical solutions and tasks using SAP technologies and tools to support Enterprise Resource Planning
