About the Position: Serves as a Concept Developer for Air Defense Artillery within the Fires Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (CDID), Futures and Concepts Center (FCC).

Duties

Analyzes and evaluates the concept development process. Provides push and pull analysis of current and near future force structure to develop concept designs for the future force. Serves as a subject matter expert in learning events focused on developing and refining concepts documents. Performs detailed research and analysis by reading, writing, reviewing, and revising documents such as studies, white papers, concept capability plans (CCPs), capabilities-based assessments (CBAs), and capability integration maps (CIMs).

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
